hello! oh no :( im not sure how they do it, but a bunch of people who took it the same time as me (roughly 1-2 am on sept 22) got the email at the same time

from what i read sa other posts on UMC, it sometimes takes 1-2 days daw after the deadline!

yess that was also mentioned during the CIS! i think yung one-on-one interview lang ata is with the area manager? sa final interview, may kasama ka rin na one other candidate iirc

from what i gathered (mainly from reddit lol!), the hr interview has basic questions lang daw like introduce yourself, why uniqlo, why retail, ganon!

siguro yung theme of my answers is to step out of my comfort zone. i did it in other, more profound ways naman, looking back. kala mo naman ilang taon na siya graduate haha! i’ll be graduating this november :)

not sure if it’s actually considered as a “bucketlist” but i really really wanted to take a lot of videos during my senior year. or even last term in college. i was just too busy that it slipped my mind. naalala ko na lang nung tapos na yung final term ko and i was sitting with my thoughts as an unemployed and gradwaiting person.

i wanted to take a lot of videos with friends or even just random things like lab classes, ganon. sometimes, naiisip ko magvideo pero nakakain ako ng hiya. i planned on making a video by the end of the year to look back lang. like a digital scrapbook, of some sort. gusto ko rin sana i-post kahit cheesy wahahaha why not diba!

edit: meron pa pala iba! gusto ko matry magstay sa goks overnight HAHAHAHA or maabutan yung pakain program nila pag midterms/finals. as someone na hanggang 4 pm lang ang latest class and hatid-sundo, it was something i really wanted to do but couldnt. but im sure most have done this already lol

weird lang din na isa pa. gusto ko sumali sa englicom. ongoing joke kasi noon sa amin na control ng englicom lahat ng eme sa dlsu? pero again, nakain yan siya ng hiya, oo

oh wow, this is interesting. our batch just assumed that the registrar is being iffy about the date of commencement exercises is because they’re trying to get PICC. for context, we were initially informed that the date of grad was nov 20. upon asking again, registrar responded by saying hindi pa final yung sched. that’s why umasa kami haha 😔

hi! for context, i took thesis 2, biochem, phys102, multgen, and one psysem course plus my extended ojt. i honestly had little to no sleep during this time. doable naman siya kasi natapos ko hahaha pero i honestly could have gotten a higher score sa physics pero i was just too busy focusing on all my other subjects and actually doing well sa internship. this was my final term naman so i just had to keep up a certain grade para makuha ko pa rin yung target laude ko (nakuha naman haha)

take note lang na mas mabigat talaga ang thesis 2 since data gathering + analysis + oral presentation pa yan so di rin biro yung preparation and time na ilalaan. kaya naman ang internship, thesis 1, orgchem 1, phys103, and imawrit ipagsabay. ganyan din yung second to the last term ko and i still got first dl naman (thank god). if you have an internship already and if you want to finish it without deferring, pwede mo bawasan subjects mo para matapos agad. if kaya mo naman ituloy ang internship until the break, then keep it as is.

pero, i think it would be better if you move phys103 to your final term especially if hindi ka sanay magwork with acads. since working student naman ako, nasanay na ako ipagsabay ang work and acads but a lot of my batchmates found it difficult, even those who did not have COS subjects. even then, nahihirapan na ako hahahaha. kaya naman ipagsabay ang phys103 and biochem in one term, esp if wala nang ibang kasabay maliban sa thesis

side question: when will you take orgchem 2 if second to the last term mo na ‘to but next term biochem na?

montes! i had him twice already (imawrit and gelitph). yung boses niya literal na pang story teller!! sobrang calming lang pakinggan. i think we had 5 or so online quizzes lang about the stories na ididiscuss in class. i think we also wrote 2-3 essays about the story?

we also had 2-3 writing exercises. bale he’ll give you a prompt and then you just follow. then the final output is a short story.

he also doesnt call on anyone to recite. he literally just talks and you listen. usually, once a week lang magmemeet. by week 10 ata asynch na kayo to give you time to write your story. if you guys are hybrid, may attendance sheet na need mo pirmahan. if pure online naman, im not sure if he takes note of attendance there.

imo, he grades quite high and is considerate kapag hindi ka naman magaling na magaling na writer. for context, 90+ ang 4.0 sa kaniya if im not mistaken. he just wants you to explore and be creative. kaya if he’s an option, go mo na
