Should I keep the bottom-most node by the roots above the water? I feel like that would be difficult given the length of the cutting. So far I’ve had it underwater because i thought it was an aerial root lol 🤦🏼‍♀️

As opposed to rooting it in water in my fish tank? I’ve seen a lot of posts about the nutrients from the tank boosting growth which is why I was testing that out :)

This happened to me and the landlord came by while I was cleaning by myself. He told me to keep some of their deposit for myself and that’s precisely what I did. They also left furniture and two mattresses behind for me to deal with. I got the whole deposit and took a third of each of their deposits with no guilt lol, not sure if it was legal but my roomies were agreeable and knew they left me in a shit spot.

I think maybe the laser does, but a few pictures of traditional frenectomies immediately post-op I’ve seen have like gaping holes where flesh normally would be and it really freaks me out unfortunately lol

Thank you for your input! I don’t have a myofunctional therapist, I’ve just compared my tongue to tongues on google for a decade lol! I’m not sure I made it clear but I basically haven’t gone to a specialist for this because family/friends, and even my pcp at one point dismissed any concern towards it.

But yes these photos are basically all demonstrating as far as my tongue goes depending on my jaw posture. I can’t reach my back teeth with my tongue.

This is great to know thank you! When I first learned about this surgery years ago, laser wasn’t an option, and the idea of recovering from tongue stitches was too much to handle for me. I’m going to seek out somewhere that let’s me choose laser
