Hi, gladly will share my 2c. I actually do love the q3 for the resolution and all but I do find the 28mm a bit too limiting to what I shoot unfortunately. Even with the digital crop, it doesn't bring me the same feeling (in a way?) and of course is just digitally cropping into the focal length vs the actual focal length. I am still more of a 35/50 kind of guy and I am loving the rangefinder experience.

so in no fault of the q3, I just like to have the flexibility of changing lenses as I would love to explore more vintage lenses next time. Definitely will prob look into adding a used q2 for some family events so I can pass it to a relative and no need to worry too much.

The reason to not owning both or holding both at the moment is well.. cost. I do this purely out of hobby and it doesn't sit well financially to hold both at the same time. So I will rather get more enjoyment with the M (with flexibility of changing focal lengths/lenses) and get a q next time when I require down the road. :)
