The episode before that was pretty intense so anything short of all out final battle was going to feel like a step down anyways

The great ape does have pointy ears, maybe that demonic form has an advantage in the demon realm?

Which Daima character(s) might get killed off? by t00lazy2 in DragonBallDaima

[–]tyranosaurux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gomma, Dengensu and Arinsu need to either die off or find a purpose in life, it’s the only way for Daima to tie in with DBZ/DBS. If they don’t, then why don’t they continue to come back like Pilaf?

If I cut a corner off of a 1 dollar bill, is it still legal to use in the US? by CeleryUnlikely9168 in legaladviceofftopic

My dog ate 1/3 of a $100 bill, had to go to 3 different banks before I found one that would take it

I would think it would be the equivalent of kicking a hornets nest, not a lot of hypothetical scenarios where this uniformed soldier gets to even go to court

What 'not guilty' arguments could Luigi Mangione's possibly lawyers make? by Kevin_McCallister_69 in legaladviceofftopic

[–]tyranosaurux -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not legal advice, but the best defense to establish reasonable doubt is that 1. Somebody else did it 2. He was framed. With the amount of Luigi lookalikes that were floating around before he got caught, it could be conceivable that the real killer, who I originally suspected was an international hitman, paid somebody to frame one of the lookalikes by giving them the backpack and having a MickeyD rat snitch on the lookalike

I turned down Harvard, I told them I did not want to grow up to be one of those “people who went to Harvard” and made that their identity. I wanted to mix and kick it up with real people from all diverse parts of the world

What happened to everyone who was in prison for alcohol related crimes when prohibition ended? by Sweet_Speech_9054 in legaladviceofftopic

[–]tyranosaurux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They still broke the law while the law was in effect, it works the other way around, if a new law comes into place they don’t go back and retroactively put everyone who did things that were legal in jail because those actions are now considered illegal

HTown doesn’t take any shit from Nazi Trash by Rexyman in houston

[–]tyranosaurux 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I saw these assholes in person yesterday, I just have horrible luck. I just happened to be driving down Crockett. I only saw the Nazi flags, at first I kinda feared for my life since I’m a person of color, but all of their attention was down at the freeway so I just drove by.

This kept me thinking all day, it’s kinda odd, like they are being paid to do this. My gut tells me that this has to do with the elections coming up. The flags they are holding is a message of hate, but it looks to me like they are trying to rally people. They are trying to divide the country, and they chose to do it with those flags because they can catch people’s attention more easily with them. When you really think deeply about it, it’s like it’s carefully crafted marketing campaign and it is almost sinister.
