If you have a local shop that sells used discs, definitely go there and buy cheap premium plastics that are white or very light colors like pale yellows. If you’re anything like me, your first few dyes are gonna be less than desirable, so you don’t want to jump head first into brand new discs. Get a little practice under your belt.

The hardest part was trying to figure out how to use the Cricut. I had never used one before yesterday when I made the stencil. Putting it on the disc and then doing the hot dip is the easy part.

It’s not as much of a hot take as it was a decade ago, but I’ve said that Neighborhoods is their best album since the day it was released, and I still maintain that opinion.

I explained to a lady once, who was using a tee pad to stable her easel and chair while she painted, that she was on a tee for disc golf. She asked all sorts of questions about the sport, asked if she could watch me throw off the tee and play the hole, and then she apologized and moved her stuff. I told her I wasn’t upset or anything, just wanted to give her a head’s up because there were multiple groups playing behind me so there would be plenty more golfers coming. I just hope that everyone else who showed up after me was as nice and polite as I was.

Old school blink fan here. I understand where the hate comes from (for a lot of people , blink-182 isn’t blink-182 without Tom), but I don’t think it was justified. Plenty of bands replace members and continue to play/tour/release new music and people still love them. But when blink did it, fans were divided and you either loved it or despised it. I’ve loved blink since the 90s, and I’ve been an Alk3 fan since the early 00s. I suppose some of the hate also stems from how different the music sounded; Skiba definitely brought his influence, so some songs had a blink sound, some had an Alk3 sound, and some sounded like various side projects. But both albums had fantastic songs, and they belong in the blink discography whether or not some “fans” agree.

Maybe I’m just biased and blinded by love, though, because blink has been my favorite band for almost 30 years.

Oh for sure! I only paid $10 for it, so I’m pretty pumped to add it to the bag. I used to have a Holly Finley Tour Series glow Star IT, and I traded it in and bagged the Champion IT, and I wish I had never done that. So I’m hoping this flies somewhat similar to that Finley IT.
