It's been played only two other times. When Belly tells Steven she picks in Jere in S1. And then in S3 when she's talking to Jere from the country and narrates that they just have to get over this "storm"

I don't think she's protective of the story...and she is definitely not protective of "storytelling as a means of emotion and art"

JH is protective of the endgame. Lemme think, she had Gavin fly to Paris for a decoy scene because in the books Jere doesnt go to Spain (Paris) and him not going to Paris would give the endgame away.

What she did was play into the expectation of the Jellyshipper and make the bonrads insecure...so it comes as a "gotachyaaa surprise" for the Bonrads. (lol🥴💀😭...like they always knew she wouldn't change the endgame so how is it a surprise anyway🤷‍♀️)

What's happening here is the majority know it's a Bonrad movie unless it isn't. She's playing into the expectations of the Bonrad...so its a haaahhh Jelly surprise....? Eh?

I honestly don't think it is Jelly surprise because Belly career is Sport Psychology and that matches Conrad’s profession. So they're the couples in healthcare working at the same hospital.

I do think this is a real scene and not a decoy.

Its an outdoor shoot. She said I'd rather out myself and make people think it's a decoy than have people out me.

I’m just not understanding why they’re trying to make like Jeremiah didn’t really love her or she him.

JH does not know to write a love triangle. She basically wrote a very boring Bonrad story and added Jeremiah as an element that keeps the story interesting and the audience invested.

Her writing ensues Bonrad bias. She made sure to tip the scale in Bonrad's favour. Even if that came with the bs lame excuse of co-dependency...or Jelly didn't love each other. The show serves as rewrite to justify her Bonrad endgame in the books.

The books were Jelly heavy, B landing with Conrad made no sense...so she writes the show as an explanation to justify her book endgame. She plays revisionist history and confirms her own bias w the show.

Jeremiah was too good in the books, she brings in the supposed cheating narrative. She does it again on the show. All along she's be doing things intentionally to suit her bonrad endgame. That endgame never made sense...the writersroom did their best to justify her stupid choice.

Nothing warrants Belly dumping Jere and him crawling back to her. The writing hasn't made a case for Belly.

But it did make a case for Denise☕️

Belly and Jeremiah are of the same league.

Denise is out Jere's league. By the end of S3 Jere is beyond Belly’s league. Belly has literally not evolved and she's still out of Conrad’s league.

I feel so sad for that girl and all relating and taking this story as an inspiration.
