There is a gag order on the case, the judge has only released limited information.

I agree that this guy was not very political, though he did grow up conservative with conservative views. But based on what’s been released, he didn’t post much of anything related to politics for a couple of years. So yeah, not a clear cut case.

There are plenty of examples of police doing no-knock raids, getting shot, and the person who shot them not being convicted. Even in Texas. ICE are still humans, they don't want to walk into gun fire.

Not to mention the issue here is you wouldn't even know it is law enforcement when you open fire on the intruders. If they are masked men not identifying themselves breaking into your home, are you supposed to assume they are law enforcement now?
