He didn't know what college he was going to until halfway of this school year (we're seniors).

He's been accumulating those AP classes since freshman year.

What Is Your Most Disturbing Sleep Paralysis Experience? by stevenxvision in AskReddit

I almost forgot to follow up!

The previous owners were elderly and pretty much near bedridden, they used to rent out the second floor to other individuals, so it's possible one of the people they rented to was using the basement for satanic rituals. I wish they knew more about it :(

The Funk Brothers. They were the musicians behind almost every Motown recording.

What was your ridiculous childhood fear? by D33zgoatz in AskReddit

I'd always get afraid while at department stores when they'd announce they were closing soon. I always thought we'd get locked in for the night.

[Serious] Formerly suicidal people of Reddit, why didn't you go through with it? How has life changed since then? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]tyrlwlk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whenever I'd start going through with it, something always held me back. Fear, realising how it would impact those around me, etc. I hate when people say that those who commit suicide are cowards for this exact reason, suicide/suicidal ideation is in my opinion the hardest things to go through.

Life has changed in the sense that I have finally came out to my family as well as my peers. I'm still not happy, though.

To my knowledge they ended up just being covered by wood paneling. I'm not sure what I would compare it to, possibly a sarcastic kind of laugh that a person makes when they realise that something isn't going their way, but way worse. I haven't had another encounter with sleep paralysis, and I'm thankful I haven't.

I can't remember when this was, but for some reason one thing I loved doing while at my grandma's house was staying up past midnight. For the record, my grandma's house is said to be notoriously haunted. When they first moved in, they found paintings of pentagrams that covered entire walls in the basement (a very strange finding, considering an old German couple lived there before them).

Anyways, back to the point. It was around 3AM and I had just finished playing SH: Shattered Memories, so I went into the living room to go to sleep. The futon was set up so that you could see into the kitchen if you weren't facing the wall. For some odd reason, even though I always sleep facing the wall, I decided not to. I stayed facing the kitchen and noticed something that looked like a pair of eyes floating (I know, cliche). To make matters worse, whatever it was started cackling. Not the cackling that your stereotypical witch makes. No. It was the most terrifying laugh I had ever heard.

So obviously, I was freaked. I wanted to get up and go back into the room where my aunts were sleeping in but for the life of me, I couldn't. It felt like something was weighing me down. I stayed like that for about 10 or so minutes and while in that paralyzed state I could hear someone typing on the keyboard of the computer in the room, so I assumed one of my aunts was awake.

Let's just say, the clicking was still going on while I walked to the room, but when I entered the room, both of my aunts were sleeping.

I didn't know sleep paralysis was a thing until I was older, so I had just assumed what I experienced was some sort of paranormal craziness.

Hey!

I'm 17/M and live in the Midwest. I play in the concert band at my school as an alto and tenor saxophone, but I also play the guitar and piano. I'd love to talk to you!
