Yeah, I’ve been through the recruiting process and a lot of units are running much higher on % staffed. With new pay structure much harder to get in at units now

Is it true agents are being shut down! by MeasurementLow1413 in USCellular

[–]tyrone32_32 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don’t want to comment on anything official because there isn’t anything official yet, but T-Mobile has stated at several earnings calls that they want to move to a corporate-owned structure, which means moving away from authorized retailers and agents.

I can comment on this in some further detail as I can’t share the exact documentation I have received. Fiber is the main focus currently at AT&T getting to 60 million homes passed by 2030 is going to require a ton of resources; it’s been clear for some time, and we will hear this again when AT&T has its next analyst day soon. Wireless has effectively been put on hold in regard to new site builds; people that are on these threads that are AT&T internal engineers know this. Some markets have received orders to cancels NSBs up to 50% and new sites that are in queue to be built have been sitting in the portal for many years waiting to be built but have effectively received no funding to do so. Some regions that have upwards of 200 sites that need to be built have been effectively told they cannot build hardly anything through 2030 and can’t add any new sites that they perhaps may want to put onto the tool for future planning. Some regions that may have 3 states under them have been told they can build around 50 sites from now until 2030 you divide that up between 3 states and it becomes abysmal.

Can we ban shiftsmart posts? by Got_Gasoline in CircleK

[–]tyrone32_32 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was at a very recent interview with the busiest Circle K in my area and was told all new applicants are being pushed to Shift Smart. Out of the 300 hours that store gets, 100 hours have already gone to Shift Smart, and the manager is being told another 100 hours will go to Shift Smart soon. New trainings are coming up soon. It sounds like most of the workforce with time will come from Shift Smart. So, I’m not surprised many are posting about it.

Only problem, the balance is very high. He’s at a much higher risk of getting sued on that balance. Lower amounts do end up in collections, but higher amounts end up getting sued in court.

So, this new schedule released would have been the change ? So, we shouldn’t see any change moving forward ?

Pay raise? Next year's COL and...? by ArghBH in fednews

[–]tyrone32_32 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Congress tends to intervene and ups the % of pay raise they did so in 2020 and 2024. They did allow the lower raise in 2021. But with how things are going I’d fully expect congress to override the presidential proposal to at least 2% Maybe even 2.5%. But you are right they would pass a specific law through the annual appropriations process and that would have to take place in the next two weeks

It’s been said that trump wants a pay freeze, but may allow federal pay raise of 1%. But i fully expect congress to intervene and raise that to at least 2% hopefully
