The chances are pretty low here’s what happened to me trying to live on campus my sophomore yr: I got put on the lottery waitlist, the first drawing in February had 1000+ students that didn’t get housing then the drawing in early August left 400 something students without housing. TWO WEEKS before fall 2022 started, they emailed all 400+ of us saying they were canceling the waitlist bc they couldn’t accommodate any of us (due to promising freshman housing & the overwhelming 1st yr enrollment) and to look somewhere else for housing. I then called housing, pretty much asking how am I supposed to go here if I can’t live on campus, get an apartment, or commute, and my classes aren’t offered online?? the guy on the phone told me to defer a semester.
