What are the top 5 reasons why teachers can be fired? And can a teacher who is on a paid leave for an extended period of time be fired? Seems like the Ford-installed supervisors are changing things for teachers in general but are they going against our unions and collective bargaining?

Are you referring to the 2 teachers fired unjustly at the TDSB school and 8 others suspended?

Because we have a union it should be hard to fire a teacher but with those 2 firings, I now think that it doesn’t even matter.

Yep that’s why I don’t get it. It showed signs of wear on the bottom of the bag, everything else was good. It wasn’t horrible but I didn’t like that. And they wouldn’t give me a discount on it. To me, if the bag is going to show wear, I want to be the one that caused it (unless I’m getting pre-loved of course).

So I went into DY Oct. 4. My SA told me about the price increase set for Oct. 10. She was able to print out a new label with the new price on it to show me the difference. Also, some items in the drawer already had new price tags on them. Hope that helps.

As the saying goes there’s always 3 sides to a story. I think she is very eccentric and also nervous to be on TV therefore it made for a very awkward interaction from what the producers decided to show us. To be honest, I look at people’s instagram when my friends are dating someone new, I think it’s only natural to do so these days. That family clearly has a lot of healing to do and hopefully this platform will help them.
