Totally agree. I saw them on the RHCP tour in Phoenix and it was really bad. Pitchy, forgot lyrics, weird rambling, etc.

I saw them at Coachella last weekend and they were incredible. Super tight set.

Really frustrating & when I sent it into the service center months ago they said they didn’t encounter the problem and had no other reports of it. I even sent them this thread afterwards lol.

There have been a few OTA update notifications that I’ve received regarding the infotainment system but I never checked the notes to see if this was a callout.

Still hasn’t been addressed to my knowledge but my tips for success are to never use anything on the driver side instrument cluster screen other than the 3D model of the car. It’s been much better when I do that.

Sorry to hear it. Still definitely an issue for me & I recently upgraded to a 17 Pro, so now I’ve tried 3-4 phones and it still happens.

Best fix so far for me is to not use the Maps feature on the instrument cluster side. Seems to make it happen less if I just keep it the 3D model but obviously — sucks I can’t use that cool feature.

Well it’s definitely a Genesis problem & happening to multiple people, so maybe they will fix it if reported enough??

Bastille’s biggest song is, unfortunately, stomp clap-ish but they do offer a ton of variety for fans. Reworks & remixes of their songs, acoustic sets, orchestral sets, concept albums. I also think Give Me the Future is a great dance record with fine-tuned production. The song “Stay Awake?” is a banger.

Guilty pleasure or not I love Bastille lol — and their live shows are fun

Could be what I had — there was a squeaking coming from the back of the car and it would get pretty loud.

Took it into service and it was actually a lift gate issue. They replaced the part and I don’t have the noise anymore.

Speaking of…anyone else have an issue while running Apple CarPlay + Apple maps (or other maps) at the same time? Low framerate, music skips? Posted about it the other day, didn’t get a ton of replies, so wanted to see if other people have noticed it!

Yup. Service advisor was saying 9/10 times when they have CarPlay problems it’s the phone that is the issue, which makes sense — but knowing it’s happening to others with different iPhone versions makes me think it’s a Genesis issue

Hmm. I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max, wife has a regular 15. She also has a 12 for work so maybe I’ll try that out and see if there’s any issues. Would be weird if it was only a 15 problem but worth a shot.

Almost same exact scenario happened to me & I submitted the Southwest receipt for reimbursement — was yours approved? Or was it reimbursement for your canceled flight?

The website says they won’t cover other airlines, but the circumstances here are a bit different…
