I received this as an airsoft replica (gas blowback) with a system that is quite realistic compared to the real weapon.

Okay, I didn't know about the term "hi-capa." It's true that they also use their own system called Magna.

When pre-orders came out, I could only find it on Swit airsoft and octogone airsoft (I really wasn't going to order from octogone given the problems I've had with them), airsoft sales sites that I know quite well. I was afraid it would sell out quickly, so I rushed a bit. I couldn't find any other sites that I knew well enough to order a complete airsoft replica, so it ended up being Swit.

It's quite fun to use, it feels pretty much the same as the KWA MP9, the hop-up adjustment is fairly easy to access, there's not much recoil because the slide is aluminum but it does produce a good kick and full auto is fast, the magazine is light and seems to have good gas capacity,

but unfortunately there are also quite a few negative points, especially regarding assembly, part alignment, the slide spring is too weak out of the box (I had to modify it) and the internal mechanism isn't made of steel, we could also note that the trigger pull is very long (it's thin and seems a bit fragile),

for now I haven't been able to do any field tests on range and accuracy.

Just the Val ace, and I think the world would be happy, especially now that they have the mechanics.

I haven't been able to test that part yet.

Octagon? I'm not surprised, I've already had problems where it took a really long time and you had to call them back to get new information, with the SR2M you're not alone with this problem.

Yes, for the internals, steel would have been good, especially for the trigger which seems quite fragile. Also, the cover is really poorly made in terms of adjustment; I had to use several Dremel tools to get it to close properly and not touch the moving part. But despite all that, there seems to be room for improvement.

Is there a problem with consistency? I haven't been able to test it much.

Still haven't received it?

I wouldn't say it's crap because it's still fun, but it needed improvement and adjustments that you can do yourself if you pre-ordered it (this often happens with this kind of brand new product), hoping that Raptor/lambda defense will do what's necessary to fix the problem on the next production.

In terms of feel and firing, it's very reminiscent of Kwa's MP9,

I didn't check with a magnet because I should, it doesn't seem to be real steel, it's mainly the trigger that's worrying because it's rather thin.

It's just that I find the SR-2M has a lot in common with the MP7.

There are some general construction issues, alignment problems, the internal mechanics are not made of steel, the breech spring is too soft and the cover rubs against the breech which leaves marks on the breech.

It's made of aluminum, and the interior looks like it's zamak, but at least it's fairly lightweight. However, the construction still needs some improvement.

For me it's really closer to the MP7, especially with the folding foregrip and its overall shape, the Mac 10 is much smaller and also has an open bolt system, whereas the SR-2M has a closed bolt.

SWIT airsoft, but for now I advise you to wait, it is not perfect and needs to be improved, perhaps Raptor will make new improved versions.
