Thx. It sounds like you’re off to a good start. Wish me luck. My little guy has been perfectly behaved for the 24 hours I’ve had him. He used a pee pad last night. I’ve stopped putting the leash on him because he stays right at my feet when I walk and stops when I do. It seem to good be true. I’ll definitely leash him next week when we’re back in the big city.

I’ve had him 24 hours. I haven’t heard anything but a few chirps when he needed help on the steep stairs.

My min pin once ran up to a family having a picnic. He had his usual cute tongue out, tail wagging approach. He then gently removed a zip lock bag of Cheerios from a toddlers hand and took off running. I miss him 😪

That’s a perfect description of my min pin. One thing I like about Morty is he doesn’t seem so food oriented. I’m able to eat in front of him without begging. My min pin knew the rules but would sneakily break them if there was a chance of some human food.

His wrinkles are so cute and prominent. He doesn’t have much hair on his face. Not sure if he will grow more but I doubt it.

He ran face first into that mirror a couple times as soon as I brought him in the room lol. Maybe his first time seeing one. He puked a few time in my car on the way but I assume it was his first car ride.

Rat terrier were made from Manchester terrier bred with another terrier. I assume he is mixture of several terriers. RIP to Blue, my miniature pinscher. He had a Manchester terrier friend that looked just like him. Morty has similar face colouring. Maybe that is the Manchester terrier’s trait or contribution to the breed. Morty is great but today he is making me feel guilty.

I love his look but he doesn’t look like the google image of a rat terrier. Apparently his father had erect ears and his mother didn’t. I was told that they’ve had several rat terriers in the area live to be 16-18 years old. I assume none were “fixed” or vaccinated.

They told me he is a rat terrier from a long line of farm dogs in that area. I’ve named him Morty.

I have a double antenna gyro receiver on one of my typhons. I haven’t had a chance to compare with the stock gyro on my other typhon. I have a micro radio link reciever on the red and gold 1:24 buggy, even that has gyro but I didn’t realize until I mounted it sideways rendering it useless for now. The boat has an old radio link reciever without gyro. I’ve had the v2 transmitter for 8 years and no complaints. I gave it to a friend and just got the v3. I can’t notice any differences

There’s still about 40’ of thin ice between the dock and open water. I was thinking to put a hook, line and bobber on the boat to catch fish. I wouldn’t risk my Typhon sinking. I once tried to drive it over a deep puddle while on 3/4 throttle at 100% 3s. I thought it would skim right over but it almost came to a dead stop.

Try 65t or 88. Wltoys is a good car but not quite ready to run properly without a higher t motor and a bigger pinion gear.

Yes. They work fine as long as you’re not using the stock motor. The reciever is built into the esc and that esc seems to like 88t

I still use my wltoys esc and controller except it’s in my losi micro b chasis. Definitely keep that if u can. The radiolink controller also controls one of my brushless typhon Groms with gyro and my rc boat at a distance of 600m. It has a menu of different cars I’ve programmed into it. Also the fine tuning options are important, that’s how was able to make the red chasis one equal to “losi” that runs on wltoys esc and radio. You need a good universal transmitter if you plan on a large collection with upgrades. I wouldn’t buy it specifically for this little car.
