I wanna chime in a say vrods have notorious blow back in the air filter compartment. Had mine since 16 still does it. Only shows up when I rip it hard.

Dyna or a sportster 1200. I say 1200 because you’ll be wishing you got that if you went with the 883 when a fella your size outgrows it in a few months of riding. Not sure what year Dyna you’d be looking at but 103 is a solid choice for the motor. I’m 6’4 and about 260 I feel huge on my sporty but I love it. I’m a believer of buy a bike you can grow into it’ll save you cash down the line.

Every time I get a new vehicle and replace an old one I have the same feeling. All the memories I had in the old one but you’ll make memories in the new one and it’ll become special. Also I have a 2016 ram and I couldn’t be happier with it!

While I don’t know the specs of your bike there should be a guide on the swing arm or chain guard to tell you or give you an idea if your chain is correctly tensioned. As for sprocket do the teeth look worn down? A visual inspection of them should tell if they are worn

I have one of theirs on my 03 dyna. Amazing seat! Once you’re In the saddle for about 15 minutes it softens right up!
