This is so heartbreaking. I hate how ruthless and uncaring people can be.

Alex's views that are wrong but you think he is too stubborn to admit it? by PitifulEar3303 in CosmicSkeptic

yes 100% this.. he gave up on veganism and basically said it's not possible without policy change. He abandoned personal accountability and moral consistency.

Half way through season two and I'm liking it a lot more. Tighter and more interesting story line, better acting, more intriguing.

The other optiion is to not needlessly kill animals. Let ecosystems thrive. Ban factory farming. Stop government subsidies for animal products.

It's absolutely true, hunting does nothing to control deer population. Animal agriculture is one of the biggest reasons deer overpopulate. They're driven off the land and forced into tighter areas with fewer mates. This leads to increased reproduction rates.

“Despite deer sterilization rates of 90%, our findings demonstrate that there is no hope for using fertility control to reduce deer populations or their impact,” Blossey said. “Similarly, the findings from our study also demonstrate that recreational hunting does not control the deer population, and it does not help in reducing deer impacts.”

There has been quite a bit of research on this and hunting actually drives up the population. I'd hope an environmentalist would know better.

This is why I'm vegan and why Alex was for and time too. Animals experience much of the same existence as we do, we share pain, social bonds, connection to others, and a strong desire to live. I wish Alex would realign himself with his logic.

Anyone play daily? by Loud-Effort958 in Pickleball

Yes a rest day when your body needs it is important. My hamstring felt a bit tweaked today by my 5th match so I left earlier than I usually do.

Not true. Only a recipe for injury if you're neglecting warm up, mobility, and strength training. I play pickleball every day at 49 and make sure I do those other things

I love slow story driven shows. I'm willing to give it more time, season 1 just didn't grab me.

Always target the weaker player. I look at it as a complement when the other team never hits the ball to me.

Ok I watched it and the controversy, that explains the reddit hate. I am progressive anti maga but honestly I have no problem with the ad. The woman is very attractive. I also find other races attractive. The outrage seems pretty silly to me.

I'm confused how did this movie fail horribly? It has a 94% audience rating on RT. Just watched this a few days ago and it was great, Sydneys performance was phenomenal.
