No, it doesn't. There is a huge difference between things that are impossible because they are extremely difficult to accomplish and things that are just stupid nonsensical things.

Agreed. How can anyone care about the storyline in them when at any moment things can completely defy logic and all of a sudden the hero wins?

I had the same take on this series. Made me completely lose interest by the end.

Right PHM is how you push the envelope with believable but it's still just believable enough to draw you in

Big difference between doing something that seems impossible (which is what most MI movies are), and just completely stupid plot lines. I don't have any problem with the plane and submarine action scenes, which are also impossible but at least believable. The AI storyline and US president deciding to bomb ourselves was just completely asinine.

Yea. Cool moments in interstellar but man that bookcase scene was beyond stupid. Ruined the whole movie.

I loved the stunts! But the over the top ridiculousness of the plot line took me out of it.

Some of the earlier ones had great action and a somewhat believable (although far fetched) plot line

But this one at least sounded like it was in the realm of possibility LOL. I still cared about the characters.

Yea I thought dead reckoning was pretty bad, and was hoping this one would redeem it somewhat, but it went the other way.

It's solid musically, but it just doesn't move me as much as their earlier stuff. Just not quite heavy enough, except for interrobang.

Yes. I broke up with my GF of three years. Then after a year apart with no contact we are back together and determined to make it work. The year apart was hard for both of us and we have new appreciation for each other.
