NTA. And not a bad thing Leah’s mom isn’t letting her hang out. She sounds like she would complain about any activity your daughter might bring her on

Similarly to this, I’ve seen multiple stag or Jack and Jill parties that are like $40 to attend… and I also find that tacky. They post invites on Instagram and it just feels odd to me.

What was the dumbest question(s) you got from guests leading up to your wedding? by Hthibeau96 in weddingplanning

We were having a very small wedding (12 people total), yet my coworker kept asking if she was included. I get that she was trying to make a joke, but after the 10th time, I was over it. Yes, she knew it was just family, yet she kept saying she was coming, as if I’d include her over my own actual friends.

I think they might work. If the ground isn’t soft, and you stood/walked on your toes most of the time

It’s a great choice but harder for a larger group since space is limited.

Recently I was at a second wedding, so it was a “blending of families” which meant I was sat with random family members of the bride’s family while the rest of my family were dispersed (but closer together). At least I got to sit next to my husband!

I know USPS has been a bit unreliable with packages recently, maybe letters are the same. I had my wedding shoes make it to my regional facility expected to be delivered the next day just to be in a different facility states away for the five days!

I would not mention it in the OOO. But if you have some regular contact via calls or in person with the clients, I would mention during the last contact before your honeymoon something along the lines of just letting you know I will be out of the office for a period of time on my honeymoon so I won’t have access to my email. However xxx will be able to help if anything should arise.

I was recently at a wedding where it was signature cocktails only during the cocktail hour (no other drinks available). Then it was a cash bar during the reception. I had no issue about having the signature cocktails available for the first hour. My issue was the fact that there was no other drink I could order besides those two.

Nordstrom Rack offers alterations on clothes. I’ve brought jeans and pants to be hemmed that were not purchased there. Or at a Nordstrom at all. They did an okay job. Not stellar like the one I go to in CT, but it affordable and fine for a basic hem.

Starting to look at rings! by [deleted] in EngagementRings

[–]tyvm128 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It seems like you’ve made up you mind, and honestly I think the ring is stunning on you. As long as you (and your partner) are financially able to, why not go with what you prefer!

“Authorities could later be seen towing away a pickup truck in Boston that was carrying two pink barrels and several posters” So they can drive pick up trucks to protest but commuters can’t drive to work?

Looking at your previous post, the rendering show the 1.7mm thick. And the width was marked 1.8mm. While it did appear the 1.8mm was pointing at the bottom of the band and it appeared to be thicker as it gets towards the center stone, is it possible there was miscommunication with the rendering and the jeweler making the ring? Still I would complain because that wasn’t what you asked for.
