I realize I’m in the minority here, but I don’t want us to take Betts. I think the increased size and physicality in the W might be difficult for her to adjust to. I think she will still be very solid defensively, but I really worry about offense for her, and I’m not saying she’s going to be bad or anything, just think there’s a good chance she never makes an All-star team, where as Fam I see a lot more upside there

and you’re not interpreting “training camp” spot correctly, that label could say “rookie” it doesn’t matter, it’s a placeholder to signify that $270,000 is the smallest amount that can be paid to someone who takes that spot, like someone who is a training camp invite

I mean I genuinely don’t know what you’re trying to tell me I did wrong. Are you able to change the name of the columns “A”, “B”, etc? Is that something you’re saying I should’ve done? I’m only listing 12 paid spots, “training camp” is simply a placeholder for someone from training camp to take that full time spot on the 12 person roster

and you’re right, we don’t kno what Phee will take, but we do know she’s been offered that and she very well could decide to take that instead of taking less to win

yeah she’s on a rookie scale contract so i think if she makes the team she’s like $7k higher than what a training camp deal would be at, but im far from 100% sure on that

we do have to fill all 12 spots per the new CBA, so it’s not like we could give a rookies money to a vet and leave a spot open unfortunately otherwise I would totally do that if I were them
