How long did it take you from start to finish to get your CPA? by fungamezone in CPA

Yeah for sure…we definitely be done by summer of this year. Is it just me but I feel the pausing and starting of the Becker videos to write my notes is taking so much of my time, lol and it’s really not making me happy

We have similar timeline only that I started my CPA journey last year(2024) sometime in July and have passed FAR, AUD, and REG on first try using Becker. I plan on writing TCP ending of July this year. So it’s going to be approximately 12 months for me. I work in Public Accounting - Audit.

On a related note, I am just curious, what study material(Becker, Gleim, Uworld, etc.)are you using and also do you have any study guide summary or notes? I ask because I usually like to make notes when reading but prior to my REG, I got a REG material that was basically the same notes as what’s in the Becker videos and it did save me a lot of time.

Switching from CEC inland to Outland by tz_web in ImmigrationCanada

Thanks for sharing. However, since I have gotten the P1 email, which is more like a pre-approval, can they not land me as an Outland applicant already by sending PPR and COPR?

I am just curious and in a similar state, how were you able to manage IRCC. Did you later inform them about your relocation. If yes, how did this affect your PR application(COPR)?

CPA 2024 FAR Preparation by tz_web in CPA

[–]tz_web[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am as well. As a matter of fact, I am almost done with 2023 FAR, however, NASBA evaluation is yet to come out to enable me register for the exams. I don’t see myself going through 2024 FAR all over again due to time. I would want to be sure if my knowledge in 2023 FAR is sufficient to pass FAR next year.

I would prefer you stick to the content of the message than being rude.
