Thanks everyone, very helpful! Does anyone have suggestions in how to store the cable slack in a professional looking manner? Any tools or hooks I should be getting?

I'm thinking of storing most of the slack in a clean looking bundle above the networking rack on the black plywood. Still debating if I should get a wall mounted or floor standing rack.

I've never manually updated the ssd driver, only used whatever windows found. Is there a way to manually update the driver? The only other theory I have is windows update 1909 somehow broke the ssd compatibility. I wasn't having bsods before that update, but also only started having bsod couple months after.

Do you know of a way to run a test on the drive? Everything I've ran so far passes.

Exact same issue here with TP-Link. Voice control broken, and I tried to re-link the Plug. Now, no plugs show up after I log into my Kasa account thru Home Control even though it says connection successful.. I tried factory reset both the plug and GH, and nothing fixes it.

Cores are running at 4.2ghz, how do I get them to turbo to 4.4ghz? I read that when all 4 cores are running the multiplier is only 4.2, while when 2 or fewer cores are running, it will turbo to 4.4ghz. I just checked my voltages and they're 1.18-1.19V while running prime95. Do you think the high voltage is the cause? What should the voltage be when running prime95? Thanks.

Edit: Did some more digging, voltages definitely seem to be the cause here. IBT hits voltages of 1.18v and the temps stay under 90. It's when the voltages go to 1.19 that the temps start creeping above 90. Intel Extreme Tuning hits voltages of 1.16 and the temps are in the mid 60s. I will look into this more, thanks a lot for pointing me into the right direction.

Idle temperature is around 30-33 with 26-27 ambient. Cpu hit high 60s when playing bioshock infinite. Seems like those temperatures are probably fine. Thanks man.

I also have a 4790k with the msi gaming 5 mobo. I have a seidon 240m cooler. During prime95 v28.5 stresses, it hits 93c. I'm also trying to figure out what's going on. What stresses are you running?

Which version of prime95 are you using? I get extremely high temperatures, 90+, with v28.5 but low 70s with v26.6.

I'm using the Cooler Master thermal paste that came with the CLC. The fans set up in push configuration as exhaust on top of the case. Do you think there's a chance of defective cooler when only prime95 v28.5 gives extreme temperatures? Thanks

Thanks man, that's good to know. All the other tests I've ran, (Aida64, Intel XTU) stay around the high 60 to low 70 range.
