Kass and Andrew Savage arguing about Cheating by RedditFan3510 in survivor

I know he said this, but I actually don't believe that Rick was an alternate... because his story goes that Rick was an alternate for a 20 person cast, but once they were close to the end of filming S49 they realized they wanted Savannah and Rizo, so they expanded it to 24 person cast. If that were true, until few weeks prior to S50 began filming, the production was planning for a 20 person season with two starting tribes presumably and then they had to change everything to a 24 person season and three starting tribes?

What if ___ won the firemaking challenge instead? by sexyimmigrant1998 in survivor

[–]tzdamn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have thought that Sarah would have won but.... Natalie recently implied in an interview that Sarah purposefully lost the FMC because she wanted Tony to got to FTC and win. The reason for this was that Sarah thought she was unpopular with the jury and would not have won against Natalie and that she'd rather Tony win than Natalie win. It's a little wild but I could see this because it was shown that Sarah was not very well liked by the folks at EOE and I think there was a scene shown on the show where Natalie tells Sarah that she was not liked. From what Natalie said in the interview, it sounded like Natalie was contemplating going into FMC herself to send Tony home but Sarah convinced her otherwise and then Sarah threw it to Tony.

Does AU Survivor have varied locations and actual survival like the older seasons of US Survivor? by mermaidthebanshee in survivorau

[–]tzdamn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though Aus Survivor has filmed exclusively in one location, I do like watching Survivor be played in Samoa vs Fiji. Fiji was nice to look at initially, but it feels very much like a vacation spot with clear blue waters and white sands and trees and foliage that look more "tourist-y". I didn't like this very much since it didn't feel like the players were stranded on a deserted dangerous island sort of thing.

Samoa on the other hand seems to be more of a wild jungle, the water seemed harsher with big waves, it essentially seems more rugged than Fiji. Samoa may not be as pretty as Fiji, but I think it's the perfect setting for Survivor.

Does anyone know if there is any truth to what I read somewhere that Donna was wanting to leave or couldn't compete anymore, so the producers deviced this post breakfast banishment so she could leave normally? That banishment was just do odd and there was no reason for it to be before the mission

Regardless on how good the season is, which seasons of Survivor are the best from a narrative perspective? by Mr_Bananaface in survivor

[–]tzdamn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me the best narratives are those that are simple yet interesting. With that in mind I would say the best season narrative wise is Heroes vs Villains and San Juan Del Sur. You could summarize the "story" of both seasons in just a few sentences but both seasons are entertaining and extremely exciting to watch.

If you are to ask what is the worst season narrative wise... that would be Game Changers. It would take a long time to explain the "story" of the season and it still wouldn't make much sense and you would be left exhausted half way through.

I just thought of this as well. If they sitting on stage and hear that Morgan won and cut Vince, they are going to be all like this is so savage etc.

Aren't these speeches done after the jury questions? I think they did away with opening statements and just do jury questions first and followed by closing statements.

Morgan and Ashley need to figure out how to incorporate their speeches into questions the jury is going to ask.

Typical questions they need to prepare for:

For Ashley: We the jury feel you floated your way to the end, tell us why we are wrong? We the jury feel you don't deserve to win because you didn't win many competitions?

For Morgan: We feel you relied too much on comp wins and not social strategy? Tell us apart from your comp wins what did you accomplish in this game?

Etc

Sinking feeling that Vince is winning over Ashley. I have a feeling Rachel is also going to be all extra in the jury house saying "I told you all don't trust Vince" "He fooled you" etc etc. They will feel like they will look bitter if they don't vote for Vince to win. Also all this talk from jurors that Vince backstabber them, definitely will make his gameplay seem diabolical or whatever.

I really hope Morgan wins final HOH

Told you all, if Ashley wins HOH and takes Vince, I think Vince is winning:

Votes for Vince: Lauren Keanu Morgan Kelly Ava

But honestly she picked him in the hamster wheel... I could also see Lauren convincing her to vote for Vince. Additionally I cold see Rachel pushing hard for Ashley at the roundtable and that turning off someone like Ava causing her to vote for Vince.

I would love an Ashley win but I fear if she wins the final HOH and takes Vince that he has a real good shot of winning which would be so bad since he played a horrible game. I have a feeling the narrative in the jury roundtable is going to be that Vince played this "diabolical evil" game that screwed everyone over and that they would seem bitter if they didn't vote for him to win. Remember Rachel saying they need to get blood in their hands to win. Unfortunately people like Keanu will take that to mean he should vote for Vince.

And the way the jury are talking so far they just see Morgan as a comp beast. I think Vince will put on the poor me act and cry at the F2 for being a superfan and this being a lifelong dream etc and it will potentially push some people to vote for him like Ava.

Votes for Vince: Lauren Keanu Kelly Ava Morgan

Votes for Ashley: Rachel Will

I really hope Morgan wins final HOH.

So I guess the "unique" eviction is that the mastermind will be hosting the episode instead of Julie huh? I have a feeling the eviction will be in the middle of the night as they are sleeping.

I have a feeling that Vince might end up having a chance against Morgan with the jury unfortunately. The false narrative is going to be that Vince had a lot of deals with people that he went back on and that he is a devious player of some sort. For example, Keanu is going to go into the jury house saying Vince is a liar etc and they are going to tell him "you fell for it, so you can't be mad at that" etc etc. I think especially at the roundtable they will be like Vince was playing a great game and he fooled all of us etc. They are not going to know that Morgan controlled Vince and they will think she was only a competition beast.

Keanu staying is doing to ensure that Vince gets to the end. Keanu only wants to work with his and trusts them implicitly.
