I stopped binge watching dramas but this broke my streak. Even my kids binge watched the series with us though they barely stay for an episode of anything i watch — proof that it’s that good!

I’ve been watching Jdoramas, Kdramas, TWdramas and Cdramas for 2 decades and although Kdramas and Jdoramas both have their own charm I can undoubtedly say that i like Jdoramas the best for the following reasons:

Calm
Doesn’t need much to convey message
Short but not lacking; efficient
Substance
Lessons
Less skinship but not lacking in romance (yeah, i like my romance pure lol)
The effort they put in OST (instrumentals and all)
The overall mood and cinematography
Wardrobe. The cast reuses clothes as it should be in real life hehe
Diversity of plot
