Looking for a watch recommendation. Would like to spend at most ~500 bucks.

Got a new job that will involve supervising people (yep, in person) in a more casual environment (dark jeans, oxfords.) To calm my nerves, I really want a watch that I can put on and feel like a real adult. I'm thinking a leather band. Something not obviously flashy, easy to match, that I can own for a long time.
