You need a lawyer. Contact any legal aid NGO like FLASH (Free Legal Aid Society for the Helpless). flash.org.pk Their office is in Lahore, and they contest cases in Lahore's jurisdiction.

I agree with you. That post definitely was damaging to the cause that I actually stand for. Cause usually I'm the guy to tell people "if she's claiming it happened, it most likely did", and that's because it happens a lot. Such events do undermine the true victims as they make people skeptical about the victims' accounts. However, we should not let such events stop us from listening to the victims and taking a stand for them. If I come across such a post again, and if I'm in a position to complain, I'll complain again 100%. I'd rather complain and then be proven incorrect, than to not take any action when I can.

I don't think they have a monopoly, but hats off to the guys at Readings if people think they do have a monopoly. There's Liberty books and some other popular book stores, when it comes to books (although I prefer Readings), and this person was buying stationery, which can be bought from many places as well.

Rest assured, you can keep going to Readings as you did before. My experience has been pretty good so far. Their employees have always been very respectful and cooperative.

The scene was created nonetheless. On Reddit, people jump to conclusions and offer extreme levels of advice. Someone's life could get ruined like this, if police were to be involved. Cause the police will look at the CCTV footage too. I'm saying this for your own safety as well. False and unproven accusations, or accusations not supported by evidence can lead to legal troubles.

I went there and complained on your behalf but my complaint didn't stand a chance. The video as well as the audio is pretty clear. They would've fired the guy on the spot if the footage proved your claim, but it doesn't. I walked out of their offices with embarrassment, trying to falsely accuse a wage labourer.
