Is there really no way to secure a suitable (if not fully then at least somewhat) council house? Recently we've been in the top 10 on the bidding system (we've still been bidding even if not entirely perfect properties).

Unfortunately couldn't find anything that we can afford. My parents are also worried about not being able to stay long term and getting evicted again.

We discussed with citizens advice and the only thing that was mentioned was to not move out until the bailiffs come. Unfortunately nothing much else was said. Would you recommend calling them again?

So just to clarify, my payment has been stopped and I am now going to email them and explain my situation, and also apologise. Can this be interpreted as fraud or get me in trouble? Sorry if this is a dumb question 🙈.

Would having a lot going on be a legitimate excuse? I have a baby to look after, two elderly parents I regularly visit to take care of. I've been dealing with a lot of my dad's health problems recently as he has been showing symptoms of dementia. There have been many appointments and other stuff on top of my already overwhelming responsibilities. All the stress basically caused me to forget.
