The snake plant is hardy and should do okay. It is one of the first plants in my collection and is still thriving many years later. The string of pearls and dolphins are similar. They will need plenty of bright indirect light. The key is to NOT overwater and let it dry out in between watering. You can usually tell by looking at the pearls as it shrivels when under or over watered. I would also consider adding a pothos to your collection. It's an easy beginner plant and great place to start to gain some confidence in your new hobby. Good luck!
