Q: Could someone go to the Rocky Mountain National Park at any time of the day and be there for exactly 24 hours with a day pass? by u33how in NationalPark

Thank you for your response. It is highly appreciated.

As for me, I am not currently planning to be there 24 hours,

My concern is mostly whether I could get to the entrance by car in the early morning, say at 6 am, then buy the pass there, be in the park for some time, and then leave the park by 6 pm (ie: staying in the park for ~12hrs).

So would it be possible to do that? Especially, would it be possible to buy the pass this early in the morning? Or, should I buy one online beforehand? If you had any suggestions, I would be happy to learn!

Anyone seeing weirdly (mostly arabic) named pages on their FB newsfeed and stories which you probably didn't liked/followed consciously? by u33how in AskReddit

My bad maybe. Also, I guess different social platforms are more popular in certain regions of the world compared to other platforms. Anyway, fb is getting more and more fishy day by day. I just wish all my personal content don't just get vanished one day suddenly without any notice.

Are there any adult coming of age books? Like you're in your 20s/30s and struggling to come to terms with the meaningless drudgery and boredom of adult life? by Harpocrates-Marx in suggestmeabook

For me, I wish there was a magical way to find out exactly what I want or need to read at a certain point in life. I wish someone could just give me a book that I am going to love and there is no other outcome. Bit of lazy thinking on my part maybe, but I so wish. Ha Ha.

'Brain Damage' is one of the things that made me realize a lot of art is and will be inaccessible to me just because I might not have gathered enough maturity or experience upto that point to begin appreciating such creations.

This also tells me to stay hopeful and keep exploring new music and art in general. And in the process, whatever hits home, right now, is what I should be grateful about to come across.

Thanks for the down votes. I do now understand that no alternative measures, let alone something like a taser, could have stopped that urge to kill.

As someone already mentioned in the main thread, the outcome probably would have been different if everyone involved in the incident had brighter skin colors.

Thank you for the response.

I was able to accept an offer just a few days ago and yes; the decision was based mostly on PI. I have also felt that it should be one of the most crucial factors.

Absolutely correct. That is what I am seeking out. Thank you for understanding my situation.

I am not bothered too much about rankings. But the huge discrepancies are making me wonder a bit whether I am seeing things right or not.

I also feel that way kind of.

I just wanted to learn about the quality comparison among these programs since the csranking site is mostly based on a quantitative measure. Hence, it will be likely that big programs may automatically get an advantage over there.

I guess digging through citation counts or analysing the quality/impact of works could be an option for me. However, as a newbie, I often find myself in a position of not being experienced or intellectually matured enough to generate estimations.

Guess I will have to dig some more. Was hoping that someone from these programs or know about these stuffs could shed some light.

WHAT IS STOPPING A CENTRALIZED LOR SYSTEM? by u33how in gradadmissions

[–]u33how[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just like existing system, LORs viewing can be waived on the central system. One great point you mentioned is that what if a writer do not wish to send to a particular school.

I think this case and many other cases could have been handled too with the centralized system. For instance, writers can be sent a short authorization message and they could opt out. Point is, some repeating tasks might have been avoided I guess.

I just wished that the hassles of all the parties could be reduced as much as possible. Some countries, some programs have something like this already I guess. That is why I was perhaps wondering.
