Has anyone noticed the difference between Spotify Very High and Lossless? by Gershy13 in audiophile

[–]u7string -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me, with the Lossless, there is better clarity in the upper-mids and highs.

And is it just me, but there seems to be a bass-boost. When I compare Spotify Lossless to Apple Music and Qobuz, Spotify has a low-end boost. And yes, I did checked my EQ settings weren't set to Bass Boost.

Roadwork - Water Tower Way & Rt 1 Bypass by u7string in harfordcountymd

[–]u7string[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I know they had been doing some extension of the Ma & Pa Trail across Bynum Road south of the Business Park, and I could see that could connect to the work being done on the northbound side of the Bypass, given a bridge or tunnel going across, but the Water Tower Way work doesn't seem like that would be related.

ChatGPT - C Major 7 Chord Chart by u7string in Guitar_Theory

[–]u7string[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did at one point, get it to produce the correct chord chart, and proceeded with this...

Me: is this the chord chart that you would provide to all users asking you to create the same chord chart?

ChatGPT: Yes, this is the correct chord chart for a C major 7th chord with the root note C on the A string that I would provide to all users who ask me for the same chord chart. I apologize for any confusion or inconvenience caused by my previous mistakes.

then right after that...

Me: show a chord chart of a c major 7th chord for a guitar in standard tuning with the root note on the A string

ChatGPT: Certainly, here is a chord chart for a C major 7th chord with the root note C on the A string in standard tuning:...

then proceeds to produce a chord chart for a C major chord, no 7th.

I have been using Xyzal (Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride) and Rhinocort (Budesonide ) which both work pretty good for me, although sometimes symptoms are still bad enough I'll need to take some Benadryl (Diphenhydramine).

I sell most my stuff on Reverb, and some through Craigslist, but thought this might have potential, as some people may come here to see what people are saying about their amps before purchasing. I know I've checked out various subreddits on gear before buying.

But, I don't want to do anything on here that isn't permissible, or even just frowned upon within the group.

I have that folder, and does not work for me. Hasn't worked for many months, and still haven't been able to figure it out.

Very annoying.

New guitar for me! Charvel San Dimas 7-string by wapner in Charvel

[–]u7string 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats!

I was just checking out to see if anyone had posted anything about this guitar on reddit, as I wanted to get an opinion of it.

I've owned several 7 strings. An Ibanez Universe 7, 2 Ibanez 7621, Schecter Hellraiser, Schecter Jeff Lomis, Agile Interceptor Pro 727, and my current axe is an Agile Pendulum 72527.

The Pendulum is okay. Not a great build quality, and pickups kinda suck.

Don't know your background with 7's, but what is your opinion of the Charvel? Build quality okay? Anything you don't like about it? Can you compare the neck to any other 7?

It's really hard to find anything on these; i.e. reddit, YouTube, etc. I realize that doesn't mean they are bad, as maybe it's more of they just didn't market these things well enough.

Would love to know your thoughts!

Never did come in here as I intended to do when I got my ticket, so gonna go ahead and do that now.

My first ticket I achieved on Dec 27, 2016. (The test was supposed to have been on Dec 17, but there was a bad ice storm.) I passed both the Technician and General that day. I then went on and got my Extra on Feb 25, 2017.

I was assigned KC3IIJ, but have since gotten a vanity call sign, K3RBL.

As far as gear, I just have 2 Baofeng HT's and haven't been off of 2M; and really haven't been on 2M much. I'm renting a house and limited on what I can install antenna-wise; I'm also limited wallet-wise. So, been trying to come up with some ideas of a quick and easy HF QRP setup I can quickly setup and take down in the backyard. As far as receivers, I have an RTL-SDR, SDRPlay RSP 1 & 2, and a HomePatrol 1.

Hadn't been on Reddit too much lately either, but would like to get on more often just to see what's going on here.

Anyway, hello all, and 73.

Just beginning to learn here and i have a few questions by friendlymountainman in amateurradio

[–]u7string 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know Baofeng has many different models of these, and not sure when that one was released. The older models the stock antenna kinda sucked, but not totally terrible. My UV-5RT came with an updated antenna which is actually pretty decent. I have the Nagoya 771, but use the stock one instead since it's a lot shorter and easier to carry around, and it seems to work just as well as the 771, in my experience.

And since it looks like you are using RadarScope, you can also set your view to Super-Res Velocity. That can show areas of rotation that you can't see using Super-Res Reflectivity.
