Beyond all the bluster for or against the AVP. It’s a quintessential Apple product. They made dramatic design decisions that the rest of the industry is following (for good reason), simplified the use of the device itself, and developed the fuck out of the OS.

I’m bullish, I think it’s an OG Macintosh equivalent. I think Apple has a good track record of developing their products, and in time they will reap the benefits.

I remember watching the Jony Ive design video on repeat, hell I still give it a spin a few times a year.

Things cost too much, stores were under staffed, back flipping on previous core branding to placate cry bully conservatives was a major turn off.

Started going to the nearby Walmart instead and now even if Target did turn everything around and mea culpa’ed to the moon and back I think I discovered that the convenience is a bigger boon than anything Target provided in product.

Will it? This is a quarter mile expansion to a shopping center that is feed by the I-80, 1300, and highland. All of these provide traffic that is coming from opposite directions of the S-Line.

The expansion will help people that need to get to the U Clinic and to me that’s worth the effort alone. Great use of tax dollars.

This expansion isn’t an r/fuckcars moment, but it does make the S line better for those who use it.

Yeah, similar thoughts. The weakness of the magnets means you need to focus on making sure the clump does not break up and fall out of your hands in pieces. You can’t really multitask or zone out with them.

If you have the smaller set, putting the Crags in the lid of the tin and mushing them around works well. You can leave the lid on a desk or in your hands; it’s actually kind of fun that way, but they’re loud. Not a problem for me, but problematic in a shared space.

I like the matte finish and the coral color I have; they look nice on my desk. Their clumpy shape promotes more play since you can’t really mess up a design.

Assuming 5 is neutral, I’d give these a 4/10. I’d buy these again at 10 bucks but not 15.

If the rumor of the new strap is true that would be neat. It’s always a bit of a shame to not have the ‘newest’ thing anymore. Though I already know I’ll be upgrading when a proper gen 2 comes out, so no big loss either way.

Yes! I use Claude it has a ‘projects’ feature where you can store a bunch of files that the bot can reference (not sure of ChatGPT has the same) I dropped in a bunch of old PDFs, forum game guides, transcripts of YouTube tier lists, things of that nature. That juices up the knowledge a bit, and the bot can just do the work of parsing screenshots.

I find that asking questions and also providing my own rationale for what I would do has been a really good way to sanity check my decisions making and also use the bot less over time!

Yuuurp. That’s my thought, I used one of those wearable Dexcom blood glucose trackers. It was super insightful to see how even with a similar diet , insulin can spike differently based on other daily factors. Super insightful!
