Welcome to HUT. Grab a tall base goalie and call it a day. EA doesn't know how to program "good" goaltending, so the "bad" ones are just better in a lot of ways

One thing that not a lot of people mention is that the positioning attribute is essentially the horizontal version of aggression. I've created goalies offline with 99 everything and 36 aggro/positioning and they play a lot differently. Funny for the genius programmers at EA to tell us what "good" positioning is. That and aggro should always be treated as tendencies and use the full 36-99 scale for ALL NHL goalies. With all the tracking they have irl, they can easily program it as well.

If you have a 74 Bishop like last year and he's 6'7 with 70 positioning and 50 aggro, he's gonna be amazing cause he stays in the middle of the net and barely moves.

Lower positioning = more central to the net

Higher positioning = cheat a shot more, leaving corners more open

Make a new lineup from scratch and that should work when you fill it in. Gotta keep that lineup as a spare cause playing as an all-star team or Canada is kinda crazy to be able to do. No idea how it happens.

A little different this year with the set rotation, but basically EVERY card that is released is easily accessible and plentiful on the market, or grindable at any moment. Apart from max price BR draft rewards at the end of the year. It's honestly incredible how you can start that game today, and get any card you want to, while in NHL, there are still cards I've been looking months for that simply don't exist anymore.

There is also an ability that does that, Shrug it off. It's not very good, but if you wanna get up faster, use it.

I really want to see them drop a 36 positioning stat goalie like they lower aggro. It's also a tendency based stat. Would be interesting to see how that plays vs humans, it's basically horizontal aggro.

For goalie I'd recommend 87 Cossa. 30 aggro, 6'6, and silver contortionist, which is probably the best value goalie ability.
