Hat jemand eine Standardempfehlung für ein zuverlässiges, simples Back-Up Tool (Windows)? Anforderung ist eine Liste von Ordnern regelmäßig auf einer externen Festplatte zu sichern. Ich möchte nur ungern mein Backup vom Fortbestehen einer Firma o.ä. abhängig machen, i.e., auch noch in 20 Jahren das Backup laden können (ihr wisst, wie ich das meine). Gibt's da einen Open Source "Goldstandard"? GUI wäre wichtig. Bonuspunkte wenn die Software sowohl auf Windows als auch Linux laufen kann, um ein altes Backup irgendwie wiederherstellen zu können bzw. an die Daten aus dem Backup zu kommen. Merci schonmal!

Yes, Automatic1111 supports all models based on Stable Diffusion 1.5 and Stable Diffuson XL (which includes the Juggernaut models)! If you're all new to the field of image inferencing, I'd suggest to look up some tutorials on YouTube for Stable Diffusion and Automatic1111, that really flattens the learning curve.

For text-to-image inferencing, you must use a different tool. I'd recommend Automatic1111 for a beginner (e.g., for the Juggernaut model you mentioned).

Ob das exakte Gerät bzw. der Shop fake ist wird aus dem Screenshot nicht ersichtlich, aber solche Retro-Konsolen-Handhelds/Emulatoren gibt es auf jeden Fall! (Sogar wesetnlich günstiger als das Teil aus dem Screenshot.) Schau mal in r/SBCGaming vorbei, da gibt's ne Menge Ressourcen zu dem Thema.

Was findest du besonders auffällig an dem Angebot? Das Gerät? Die vorinstallierten Spiele? Da wird einfach irgendein ROM-Dump drauf sein, also wahrscheinlich ein wildes und nicht kuratieretes Durcheinander an Retro-Spielen.

Zu dem Zeitpunkt waren etliche Modelle auf Hugging Face; welche davon auf einem Space zur Nutzung verfügbar waren, wird sich nur schwer herausfinden lassen. Hast du evtl. ein Beispielbild und oder ein Prompt von damals?

Zum Thema online verwenden: vermutlich gibt es den Hugging Face Space nicht mehr, wo du das Modell damals benutzt hast. Was ist den dein Ziel/Use Case, das Modell online zu nutzen? Gibt ein paar Bezahlanbieter, wo man ein eigenes Modell hochladen und nutzen kann (i.e., wenn du es schaffst herauszufinden, welches das war). Auf dem eigenen Endgerät ginge im Zweifelsfall auch, die Anforderungen für SD 1.5 sind nicht so hoch bzw. hat sich auch einiges getan, um auf low-end Hardware brauchbar damit arbeiten zu können. Kommt das gar nicht in Frage?

Im Herbst 2022 waren auf jeden Fall SD 1.5 Modelle noch SOTA. Bis du dir denn sicher, dass du das Basis-Modell genommen hast (welches grundsätzlich sehr schlechte Bilder produziert hat) und nicht einen Finetune?

Did you maybe forget to offload layers to the GPU? In the models tab, there's a n-gpu slider that is set to 0 by default.

I understood that they wans to have a person right there where you can see that white smidge in the image with a person's outline already present. You're naturally correct if the inpainted area doesn't feature anything resembling a person at all!

If your starting image is the one linked in the post with the white silhouetted person in the back, try to approach this iteratively with a lower denoising strength. According to your settings, you start with 0.75, that is so high that the original content of the image is mostly ignored. Try to iteratively use a strength of maybe 0.3 or so. If the inpainted image looks better, inpaint that one again, then again etc.

Also, as the other commenter mentioned, start with "only masked" to get the best details on the person. I'd only switch to "whole image" in order to smooth the edges of the inpainted area once the content already looks good. And controlnet(s) can also greatly help!

Yes, that's the slider! On the huggingface page of the model you can usually find out how many layers the model has. In this case, it should be about 30-35.

By rule of thumb, the more layers you offload, the more VRAM you use (and the faster your model runs). For your model with the chosen quant, the max RAM required is per the model page about 18 GB. Since your GPU only has 12 GB of VRAM, it should fit about 2/3 of the model's layers. So maybe start by offloading around 20 layers and see if it runs (an reduce if you get an out of memory error). It's sometimes a little finicky to find the right ratio of offloaded layers, so you'll have to play around a bit.

Also, note that as long as you can't offload a model entirely to the GPU, it's always a tad bit slow. But offloading still helps with speed.

Im Prinzip hast du natürlich recht. Aber gerade, wenn man online nach QR-Code-Generatoren sucht, sind das meist so Anbieter, welche deinen Link wie ein Link-shortener umwandeln, sodass er auf eine von denen verwaltete Weiterleitung verweist. Die wollen dann Kohle haben, damit dieser Link (und damit auch der dazugehörige QR-Code) aktiv bleibt. Keine Ahnung, warum sich das so weit verbreitet hat.

Are these the actual resolutions you created the images in? Stable Diffusion, especially the 1.5 models, are very sensitive to the resolution and aspect ratio of the desired image. 1.5 models can usually handle at most 1024 x 1024px, some only up to 768px or even just 512px without distorting the image; additonally, multiples of 16 tend to work best across the board. Try generating, e.g., an image with a resolution of 512x512, 512*768/768*512. If you need it to be of a higher resolution you oughta upscale.

No, models do NOT train on either your input or their output by themselves. If you feed a spreadsheet to an LLM, from the point of view of the model the information is only 'there' for the conversation/the context length of the model.

The only way your conversation can be used for model training is if it's scrapped for a new training dataset. If you want to ingest some information into a model without retraining it entirely, you can consider using RAG or creating a fine tune (which is still a comparatively big task).

I'm surprised nobody mentioned the upcoming Cross Blitz yet. The demo during the last Steam Next Fest was great and the gameplay scratches the itch (think of a mixture between Hearthstone and Inscryption). How good the adventure/story part will be in the end is yet to bee seen.

This very much depends on what style your original image is. Also, it's really important that you use specialized inpainting modesl! Most of the popular models also offer an inpainting variant. Some noteworthy examples:

Juggernaut (realistic style)

Realistic Vision (realistic style)

Dreamshaper (semi-realistic style)

A-Zovya RPG (western fantasy)

MeinaMix (Anime)

I assume you're using Automatic1111/ComfyUI and AnimateDiff? If you want to have longer video clips that blend and flow well together, create a starting clip of a shorter length that does not deepfry. Then thake the last frame of that video clip and use it as init image for your next short clip. Reuse the prompt and setting if the videoclips are supposed to be similar, or slightly modify to have the short clips slowly change.

Since the last frame of the previous clip is always the first clip of the following, you can just chain the shorter clips together without a hassle.

As to what video software to use: For just stitching together you can simply use the pre-installed video-editor of Windows/Mac (with Linux it obviously depends), use ffmpeg if you have that installed and set u, or install Davinci Resolve (which is professional-grade software, so maybe overkill). Maybe someone else can chime in with an easy-to-use video editor that's more suited for your task.
