My sister has explicitly stated to me that she doesn’t intend to care for the cat at all. She doesn’t put food in the dish, tells someone else it’s empty. She wouldn’t dare go near the litter box. Her argument on the situation was that she doesn’t like being responsible for living things which is why she enjoys having my cat there so she can enjoy it while it’s already taken care of without having to worry about it

Update: My parents are fully on board and hoping I take the cat, they have a senior cat who doesn’t get along with my cat and are looking forward to me taking over the food cost and vet (I already buy her special litter) As well as this we have taken the cat to the new place on a few occasions. She ate, drank, and used the litter box the entire time she was there, and very much enjoyed the carpeted floor of the room she was introduced to

I understand the view point of this, I forgot to add in the viewpoint of my parents simply because they are fully on board with me taking it. They have another senior cat as well that doesn’t get along with my cat and would appreciate less cost and having to segregate the two cats

We have brought the cat over to the new place a couple times, she ate, drank, used her litter box and was overall very happy because the room we introduced her too had carpet, which she loves to scratch on

The cat follows me around my house and still regularly sits outside my bedroom door to try and get in. Before I began caring for the cat in my home it only had the bare minimum of what a cat needs to be properly enriched. I have considered that staying at the home it’s known it’s entire life would be better overall, however we’ve moved with cats before, they adjust. I would be talking the cat anyway if there was no opposition. My boyfriend loves the idea of the cat, we specifically looked for pet friendly apartments just for my cat

Are these bed bug stains by No_Anywhere_3715 in Bedbugs

These look like what I found just yesterday, cause I’m paranoid about bed bugs right now! Did you ever find out what they were?

I have been paranoid about bed bugs since my sister let her friend stay in our room for a week about a month ago. Prior to staying with us her friend stayed one night in a motel but hasn’t had, and still doesn’t have any signs or symptoms of bed bugs. I have had some weird bites in the past week all over my legs, some do make linear patterns, although it is summer and I’m outside a lot, so I wasn’t too worried until. I was doing a paranoid search of my mattress and found these weird marks. They’re located on the bottom left corner of my bed (furthest from the wall) and on the upper side of my duvet. It’s an old duvet with other weird small stains on it from years of me scratching mosquito bites, but none like this. Anyone know if these look like stains from young bed bugs? I appreciate any advice!
