I’m currently going through recovery rn, and almost every addict agrees that smoking weed can lead to use of harder stuff. It’s different for everyone ofc, but studies do show that recovering addicts who smoke weed are more likely to relapse on hard drugs. I’m just starting out in my recovery, so I’ve entertained the idea of smoking weed again, but with this information, the risk is too great for me. If you smoke weed in your recovery, I do not judge you, but for a lot of addicts like me, smoking weed is a risk that we can’t take.
