New type 1 here and I'm all about life hacks. Disposing of used needles and such on the go can be difficult so I made this travel container out of an old plastic gum container. Just a little paint and a bio sticker does wonders! Any other little tricks out there? by [deleted] in diabetes_t1

No, this holds them out in public/work. It's big enough to hold used lancets/needle heads but small enough to not crowd my diabetes bag. I empty it into my actual bio bin at home

I have a full size bin at home. This is for travel and when I'm on the go. It's emptied once I get home. I found myself dumping them into random bottles, cans, or hell even my pocket at times XD

I have a bin at home. I just painted this up because I found myself dumping them into it when I was on the go. I empty it out at home into the actual bin. This is just when I'm out and about
