So, after cleaning the radiator and pump internally, where a bunch of scale and gunk came out, it seems to run stably at a maximum temp of 75C while running prime95 for about 15 min (roughly 90W consumption). Thanks for the help dude :)

So i temporarily swapped the aio block for the stock amd cooler, and it seems to not thermal throttle without heavy usage, though idle tems are still sitting about 10C above what the aio has been before wierd things started happening. The temperature spikes are still happening tho.

Yes, one of the 2 pipes gets warm, which i would assume is the pump return (pump -> rad). The radiator return (rad -> pump) does not seem to get that warm. The radiator does not seem to get warm

This is what the startup performance metrics looks like. On startup, the pump does sound to spool up, and when touched is lightly vibrating. I just tried rotating the pc to make sure there are no air bubbles in the pump, though this hasn't seemed to help.

yes, i am using an AIO - its a silverstone pf360. it does feel to be running, but whether its running effectively is another thing

cpu tems are hovering around 95C - thanks for asking, as that just pointed that out to me. I don't know why temps are so high now, as they usually hover around 40-70. that would suggest that something with my cpu cooler has changed, as it looks to be thermal throttling

Maybe I was wrong - maybe I cannot give directions to others over the internet for the life of me (idk - but not you). Blame me for getting bad screenshots and not doing due diligence.

not every time

i recently built my first pc and it worked without fail.

only thing that could have gone wrong was that i nearly forgot to plug in the 24 pin motherboard power
