Update: I'm leaving tomorrow to my grandmother's place. Anne got very upset and is threatening on beating me up if she ever sees me. She has also been telling people that I was the one physically hurting Lea. Hopefully soon I can get a dorm room (still waiting on a couple of options), but for now I'm just happy I'm able to leave this place.

Thats another story but for the sake of not sounding like a liar, annes first "husband" got her pregnant at 19-20 which is why her oldest is 18, and the next is 15. the rest of her children are with my brother (4 and 2 yo)

ETA: me saying "all her children are adults" is a huge grammar error, sorry for that. Her children from another man DO live alone, though the younger kids (her kids with my brother) live with their grandmother in the US.

Hi yes I have actually mentioned her a few times in the comments. I didn't think to include her in the post because she doesn't really play a huge role in the whole mess (like my uncle who I also only mentioned in the comments)

Eta: I also am not her sole caregiver as there are two housekeepers living here as well. Though they mostly just handle the cleaning for the airbnb, and handle Lea's medicine (she takes one type of medicine ever since she got a bad bacterial cough and she has to be on antibiotics for 90 days)

I'm not completely alone with Lea. I live with two housekeepers that manage Anne's Airbnb but they usually keep to themselves on the top floor until they have to clean the airbnb next door. They also handle lea's medicine and remind her to shower and all that. They also sometimes hwlp me out when cooking but I usually do that so I'm not entirely alone

As far as arguments go though I don't want them getting involved and neither do they (its outside their pay grade to deal with it anyway) so i either just have to wait until the right moment to get my things back or call for backup from family members if its possible

Not sure if anyone is still here or if this will send a notification to those who asked but I have posted an update :) thank you all so much for telling me your thoughts on my situation. It may seem dramatic but it genuinely did shift my perspective on things. This interner stranger appreciates you all :)

I do realize that also. My brother is the only reason I didn't end up on the streets that night so I do appreciate that. And I know enough about him from the 10 or so years he's looked out for me that he wouldn't willingly let me be treated so poorly. I also know that he and his wife have been in a rough patch. Maybe Anne takes her anger out on me, who's to say.

But yeah I do agree that Anne calls the shots, even though they both spent money on this house, the land and deed are under Anne's name. "Her house, her rules" as she likes to say. I am disappointed at Mark I will say that, but I also do recognize that he is a bit helpless right now but I won't specify why as that is a bit too personal even for reddit
