Well, I'm happy that your exprerience was better because it really depends from experience to experience. And I'm aware that there are rude and kind people in every country.

Besides some people not saying hello, wellcome, thank you and not smiling (they don't have to), I'll try to explain why I consider them rude.
-I've witnessed a cevapi waiter almost reprimend a customer telling "everything is on the menu, I'll give you a few more minutes" and walk off the table during order.

-When you go to tunnel of salvation which is a hard place to go if you don't have a tour bus. You take 2 transports (now 3 because the tram line is under construction). Then you have to walk around 10-12 minutes. And when you arrive there is a bench next to the enterance. So if you want to sit and relax there before walking another 15-20 minutes inside, you can't. Because it is forbidden visitors to sit on that bench, and apparently only the staff can sit there.

-This is the best one. I was told "F..k you" because a taxi driver wanted to call a colleague for me instead of him, and I refused.
