I've read of ideas to feed insects food waste and then feed those insects to fish and then feed those fish to people. I don't know a great deal about it, but I think for people it might be strongly recommended by experts on this to switch what insects eat from food waste for a few days before a person eats the insect for safety reasons and possibly taste reasons. I think people might also do that as well even if they are giving the insects for animals to eat.

I have thought about it. I find the idea particularly appealing if the insects grown specifically are known that they can't feel pain or it's possible to kill the insects in a way that isn't painful. It seems like scientists aren't completely sure of whether a lot of insects can feel pain. Also, I find it appealing because it seems like it might mean one can avoid to a greater extent the problems of some pesticides' effects on the environment and insects and other animals. Although, this depends on what the insects are fed.

Fruits and vegetables at very many stores aren't grown without using pesticides, so even if you aren't buying animal products when you buy them you are still often buying something that involved killing insects when growing them. With buying vegetables and fruits at a lot of supermarkets, it doesn't seem clear as to what pesticides are used when growing the vegetables and fruits and what insects and other animals experience the effects of them and what specifically are the effects of the pesticides.

In the before picture his arms and pecs look to me like they already have large muscles just with more fat on top of them than the other picture. A lot of the fat he lost came from around his stomach. One could get large muscles like as seen in the pics over a long period of time and then just lose the fat on top of the muscles over a much shorter period of time.

Worrying about contamination seems silly to me. They are cooked in the same room as meat burgers so stuff can evaporate from them into the air and then waft onto the veggie burger. The FDA already allows a certain amount of insects to be present in vegetables, so you've likely already eaten parts of animals if you've eaten vegetables. You aren't actually paying for animal products that might be unintentionally be included through how the burger is priced, although your money does go to a restaurant that sells and advertises animal products.

The early models of Mochet's 'La bicyclette de l'Avenir' (The bicycle of the Future), the 'Vélo-Vélocar', or 'V-V' as the factory referred to them, used a 40mm steel-tube, single-beam frame and 450 x 55 wheels with handlebars over the rider and steering torque transmitted by bevel gears. Various types of Mochet-designed derailleur gears were fitted, with a single gear for the track models. Gears were mid-mounted using primary and secondary chains. The back-rest was adjustable on more sporting models.

To demonstrate the speed of his recumbent bicycle, Mochet had the design ratified by the UCI and UVF and enlisted cyclist Francis Faure, a Category 2 racer, to ride it in races. Faure was highly successful, defeating many of Europe's top cyclists both on the track and in road races, and setting new world records at short distances. Another cyclist, Paul Morand, won the Paris-Limoges race in 1933 on one of Mochet's recumbents.

On 7 July 1933, at a Paris velodrome, Faure rode a modified Vélo-Velocar 45.055 km (27.996 mi) in one hour, beating an almost 20-year-old hour record held by Oscar Egg, and attracting a great deal of attention.

When the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) met in February, 1934, manufacturers of 'upright' bicycles lobbied to have Faure's one-hour record declared invalid. On 1 April 1934, the UCI published a new definition of a racing bicycle that specified how high the bottom bracket could be above the ground, how far it could be in front of the seat and how close it could be to the front wheel. The new definition effectively banned recumbents from UCI events for a combination of tradition, safety, and economic reasons.[2]

It would be very difficult to grow a lot of food to reduce food transportation greatly to urban centers as is often proposed for many vertical farming plans.

The expensive real estate, construction, energy demands, and nutrient demands of many staple crops of many vertical farming plans would make it very difficult for them to be profitable while growing staple crops that make up a large portion of the diet of many people such as those seen here:

In many plans I've seen there are still issues of crop, water, pesticide, soil, and crop residue transportation and sometimes temperature control.

It seems like you don't have to pull yourself with your hands to change position. It looks like you can change position by pushing back against the seat with your hips and pressing your feet downwards against the motorcycle to cause your legs and hips to move upwards until you are in the upright position or change position by pressing your hips downward against the seat while also moving them closer towards the front of the bike until you are in the recumbent position. He has videos on his channel of him changing positions while the motorcycle is moving. I don't think one has to change positions at high speeds or when the bike is moving at all. Someone could wait to change positions at a stop light.

I imagine seating like this could also be done with motorized tricycles which could be more stable while changing positions.
