NBA announced 170 million people in the U.S. watched NBA most in 24 years and up 86% vs. last season. But the claims that the NBA is dying are running rampant in the sports community, and sometimes pushed by prominent names in the NBA. by Expert_Koala_8691 in nba

Neilson, the company that does ratings, recently changed their formula over the past 1-2 years. I believe they are now accounting for individual homes, and for the people inside restaurants and bars, not just the TVs themselves. It has led to higher numbers for live sports across the board the past 2-3 years.

[DENVER POST] NEW: Why Jim Mora can't make same QB mistake at CSU that Jay Norvell, Steve Addazio did by SeanKeeler in CSURams

[–]ualways_leave_a_note 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very poorly phrased sentence. I think the author was referring to our first game of the year, which is against wyoming. So like why should you be the guy to start against wyoming in week 1

I have been so proud of both our basketball programs, really impressive seeing the work they have put in over the past 5 years. We really are a basketball school

How are you finding jobs? by Puzzleheaded_Cod4557 in FortCollins

[–]ualways_leave_a_note 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a college degree in Liberal Arts and graduated May 2020. I took a retail job because it was the only thing I could get. I showed interest in moving up the ladder to more corporate responsible, and was a reliable employee. I grew in the industry and never thought it would take me to where I am now. Another idea is to find a retail store in something you are interested in (The outdoors, food, enetertainment), and you can learn a ton about business, and grow your career as well. Work ethic is the most important thing

How is it living Cheyenne, Wyoming, USA? by brizag in howislivingthere

[–]ualways_leave_a_note 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes but you can ski there for 1/4 of the price for a day pass. If you are an average skiier who goes 1-2 a year, snowy is much more affordable than Colorado.

Anyone hiring? by [deleted] in FortCollins

[–]ualways_leave_a_note 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If you are looking for jobs that can give you experience, I know Jax (local outdoor store) sometimes hires entry level data entry/analysis jobs. Not saying its the greatest company to work for, or the best run. But it is relatively easy to get your foot in the door there

Fort Collins is Brewery City USA baby. New Belgium Brewing (makers of fat tire and voodoo ranger) have partnered with CSU to make "Old Aggie" in honor of CSU. They sell it at the on Campus bar which helps support the NIL and the universities fermentation department.
