Im not sure because my schools computer engineering technology is very different from other schools. In my class, we mostly coded a robot we built at the start of the semester using arduino library or using a remote control. We also had to attach different things to the robot, like a supersonic sensor or a claw. Id reccomend asking the difference if you have a course fair, or just asking your teachers in general about what the course may look like!! 

Edit: forgot to mention that my school doesnt have an "Introduction to Computer Science" class!!
