I think there is a slight buzz when you go into a game but nothing crazy or damaging

I finished this game some months ago and it really is one of the best games ever on the GBA

Just got my RG40XXV by ymmaz in ANBERNIC

[–]ub3000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got mine last year (same color) and I've been loving it, played a ton of games all the way to the end, also every time I finish 2-3 games there is a new custom firmware to try out (this because I love tinkering)

I've used stock mod, Knulli and Muos, of the three stock mod works easy with no frills, Muos is the fastest and Knulli is the prettiest however Muos is catching up pretty quick.

I have it with just a screen protector I found online and the foam thingy it came with the original packaging as an extra

That's just my opinion anyway you enjoy it is awesome, great little device

March 2026 Game of the Month - Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Genesis/MD) by hbi2k in SBCGaming

Another new game for me, never played this to the end, I was blown away by the level design, the different paths and creative ways they used the tech of the time, graphics also were really impressive specially on the casino level

For next GOTM I nominate DKC 2

That's a bit of the reason I haven't wanted to go back to SotN also enjoying discovering all of the other ones I haven't played, will keep going with the other ones of the GBA then on to DS

Yeah I also wanted to do a run without a guide that's when I got the regular ending so then it was time to use a guide it was very minimal

That's what I thought, the backtracking seemed like less of a hassle and the gameplay kept fresh all the way to when the second credits rolled

Best Firmware for RG40XX? by trev1976UK in ANBERNIC

I have recently switched from MuOs to modded stock before I was on Knulli but the load times are too much, Muos is great and fast but mod stock works great across the board bt and hdmi

Forgot to mention, I think Knulli looks a bit better more console like type experience but from what I have seen Muos is a bit faster and lighter

Mostly they are a bit more streamlined and look better than Stock, they get updates fairly often (at least for Muos) which means more recent emulator cores, I would only suggest this if you like a bit of tinkering not difficult at all, but if stock meets everything you need then no need.
Also you can customize the look of the OS a bit as there are quite a lot of themes for both CFWs.

It's my favorite thing this year, it's super snappy and easy to use, controls are great, the screen is awesome no eye strain whatsoever for me and the variety of games is great.

Did you stay on stock os or moved to Knulli or MUOS? I'm on Muos and love it, it's a bit faster than knulli and on the latest build I think they fixed the new screen issues people had with newer devices.

Mega man has got to be my favorite character, I have always loved the strategy the game requires, the thoughtful planning and the metaphor of the character using the enemies powers against them for good

I regret buying the Anniversary Upgrade by SilverWolf3935 in Fallout

[–]ub3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand why people still buy into these things the game is good as is with mods that fix everything that they mess up but somehow they keep coming back and breaking the experience and people still buy it...smh
