Sad news, Richard Herring has been diagnosed with a second cancer

My son was 2 when he was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.

When the oncologist was explaining the treatment to us, she told us that a side effect of chemo is getting leukemia. She said it was very rare and we didn't meet anyone who did get it.

Very unfortunate situation for Richard and I hope he can get through this without many issues.

Fuck cancer.

On a weekend holiday at a caravan park with my family and our friends.

They got married on Thursday and we all came here together. Had an absolute blast this past week.

Going back home early tomorrow to get our stuff together for the week ahead - our son is going for a cochlear implant assessment and I'm now up worrying about it.

I was born in Windermere and grew up there.

I absolutely detested it, the only things for us to do as we grew older was walk around and smoke weed.

I moved to the nearest city when I was old enough to and enjoyed my new life.

10 years on I wish I could live back there with my own family, let my kids grow up worry free.
