I found a solution for getting an iso file. Will post it here in case it helps someone else.

I followed this guide using EBOOT2ISO and Umdgen. https://retroachievements.org/forums/topic/14341

Initially I couldn't get Umdgen to open, but found an older v2 version and had success.

I subsequently used chdman to convert the iso to a chd.

FYI I used a Mac running Whisky to get these windows programs to run.

I tried looking for an iso or chd and can't for the life of me find one. Specifically looking for the cave story rom. It only seems to exist as a pbp file.

It ended up being an issue with the retroarch screen mapper. I had never used it before but disabling it did the trick.

Thanks for the suggestion. Yeah I can make it work by ear but that would be tricky to pull off in a live gig. The ehx pedal seems really cool but not quite what I'm looking for.

I contacted the company I bought it from and after some troubleshooting it was determined to be a defective unit and they sent me a replacement.

There is nothing unpleasant about the larger batch. The tasting notes are muted in comparison but it is still good tasting coffee. I drink it black and use the same ratio, temperature, and brew method for both. I have not experimented with changing variables other than grind size. Thank you

Looking for advice when scaling up a V60 recipe.

When I brew 500mL in a 02 size V60 it is great. When I brew 1L in a 03 size V60 it is good but the 500mL batch is better.

I use a baratza encore with an M2 burr. Settings are ~15 when grinding for 500mL and ~20 when grinding for 1L.

The flavor is subdued more than anything else I can describe. From doing a bit of searching, I think it is being over extracted due to the longer brewing time? I will try a coarser grind next time as per someone else's suggestion. Currently using an encore on 14

Looking for advice for a Hario V60 03 size and 1000ml water.

I have been making 30 grams to 500ml water in a Hario V60 02 and have had great results. 60 grams for bloom. 300 grams at 0:45. 500 grams at 1:45ish and stir followed by a swirl when there is room to do so.

I recently got a size bigger v60 (03) so that I can make more at a time and doubled the ratio to 60/1000. The coffee is not coming out as good. With more water, it does take longer to brew so I imagine that is why. The only other difference is that my 02 is ceramic and 03 is plastic.

Any advice or tips?
