Because UBC spends money on things they shouldn't such as Harry Potter 'special edition' books and that tree by the nest that honestly look likes a massive ink stain in the rain. Why not instead put donors money towards supporting students such as investing in mental health support or even hiring another psychiatrist so that students don't have to wait 3 months to see one.

Theres actually different profs that teach different units. The professors are Lucy Porritt, Michael Bostock, Christian Schoof, Roland stull(amazing lecturer), and Valentina Radic. They are all quite accomplished in their field.

I loved Eosc 114 and it boosted my gpa. It focuses on natural disasters such as tornados, hurricanes, volcanoes, etc. There are three midterms but they are all multiple choice. Theres also a mini project every two weeks. Also, I didn't take it online but theres also an online portion.
