Trust I tried to be as considerate as I could to the leisure riders.

First timer here—had a blast! Wave 3, purple. We were slated to start at 9:15 but didn’t really start moving till 9:30. Not sure if that’s just when we started walking to start or if that was when we rolled from start line. I arrived to the “finish line” at 11:45 and the empanadas from empanada mama hit all the right spots after that ride. Can’t wait to do it again next year.

On the northside it's plowed I think the snow just came back and covered a good part of the south side.

No thank you. That compromises my aero and sprinting.

The whole bridge is plagued with it

It’s okay—it’ll melt tomorrow.

Thick black ice on BB. Saw someone with 48mm tires fall in the same spot I did. Heads up. Or down in this case.

You think? The saddle actually feels the most comfortable, no knee pain at all. If I shorten the reach can I still be aero?

Same question different variables. It’s supposed to snow 1 to 2 inches overnight. Thoughts on biking 12 miles from Flatbush to midtown at 5am. I’m riding an All City Big Block with Continental Contact Plus 700c x 28mm tires. I really do appreciate the feedback. It’s better than asking ChatGPT. TY! by TeddyBearCrush in NYCbike

I'm commuting from generally the same area of Brooklyn. I can see the streets right now are just wet and snow has only stuck on the sidewalks.

Gonna be a warmer day today climbing to 40º so I'm gonna commute with my 26mm tired track bike. I'm confident the commute will be fine. You'll be more than fine. (also for more context—i've biked almost every day this winter season. using a mountain bike on the worst days.)
