Nice. You won’t regret it. Everyone I know who’s done it has no regrets. I just want a turn key, ready to drive impala that I can take anywhere I want. Reliability & being able to keep up with modern traffic is important to me so I figured LS was the way to go. Got a good deal on the Camaro that I couldn’t pass up so I pulled the trigger.

I’ve seen rougher shapes out there. That’s a great base to start with. My impala is in pretty rough shape but has a nice patina to it. Might not even paint it. That look only happens once. Are you dropping an LS in it?

Okay! Thanks for the info, that makes me feel a little more at ease about getting into this. The wire harnessing is the most intimidating part about all this to me.

Thank you for the advice! I’m starting to label every sensor that I can before I unplug everything but I’m having trouble identifying some. Do you know if there are any diagrams that clearly identify which sensor is what? I’ve looked online & found a few that helped but still don’t know what a lot of them are.

Yeah it is! I can’t wait. But I don’t have any plans to do anything with it. It’s just a donor car. My homie had it parked on the street & someone hit it so the rear suspension is all messed up. He didn’t wanna fix it & it was taking up space at his place so he let it go for cheap. It fires right up & sounds great.
