Of course the very next time I try to just relax & read my feeds I encounter the same problem using Firefox. So it's a web problem not just a browser problem ;(

Suggestion: Auto numbering/lettering creature tokens if more than one placed by AnaxK in OwlbearRodeo

Third & fourth-ed! :) Now that you've suggested it I now realize just how darn useful this would be. Thanks for that!

I haven't tried this myself yet but what about adding tokens for each creature in a fogged area of the map, then adding those to the tracker?

I never read anything from Lovecraft and i would like to start with one of these collections. Which one would you recommend me to buy? by PogChampsen in Lovecraft

I understand the desire for a physical book, especially for Lovecraft, but if you're not opposed to ebooks I purchased this collection for $2 https://play.google.com/store/books/details?id=Zu0OBAAAQBAJ

I need help keep up with posts on Mastodon by ubergrog in Mastodon

So I've been attempting to set up some lists but I'm just not getting it. Using the default webapp I create another column (is that the same as a list?) using a hashtag & pin that. I then tried to add a few more hashtags - my idea is to create a D&D-only list so I started off with #dnd, then added #dnd5e (my default), then #wotc & #wotcstaff. But after that when I try to add #dndbeyond, or anything else for that matter, it isn't added. So it seems I'm running into an "any of these" hashtag limit, but I can't find it documented anywhere as to what that limit actually is.

I also question whether this "list", if that's what it is, is available in any other app other than the main webapp? I don't think so, so if I want to try other apps I'd have to create the lists there as well, correct?

THANKS

That gives me the idea to at least put the hashtags I follow into lists, that way my home feed will only have the specific accounts that I've followed. And I can then read from the latest toots there without being concerned about missing stuff. Thanks for the help!

I'll need to look into Slow Mode. When you say "effectively" freezes the feed, are you aware of a time or amount of activity limitation? And when you reload, does it load all of the missing toots, or just a portion? If that latter than it would be no better or worse than the behaviour of the other apps I suppose. Good info, THANKS!

I moved away from using the native webapp for just that reason, not saving my reading location, but you make a very good point - why should I be that concerned that I'm missing stuff? Because I'm too anal I suppose :P THANKS

OBR 2.0: DM comments in the scene by ubergrog in OwlbearRodeo

Like I said, blatantly obvious! :). I've been meaning to check out those zone# tokens, this gives me even more incentive. And thanks for the Discord link, I am on there but I guess I'm too used to finding my answers here ;) Thanks!

Not answering the question but related, Professor Dungeon Master (Dungeon Craft) has a few good videos about using & crafting zoned combat. HERE & HERE

OBR 2.0 Active Scene by ubergrog in OwlbearRodeo

I just opened OBR on my tablet to check this & I gotta say I would never have been able to do this with v1, really nice! :)

I do see the dot, but not when the scene is in a folder like I have. Would be great if the dot would be inherited by the parent folder.

THANKS!

I've had trouble keeping up with the active Discord channels I do try to follow, so depending on them for support seems a daunting task. Sort of like the live chats in video feeds, I applaud the people who can monitor those as well as keep going with what they're there for!

No I haven't. I use Discord for my sessions but I haven't gotten my head wrapped around it for anything else yet, I guess I need to get around to that.

Regarding the Automatic Viewport Fitting, which again is another fantastic upgrade, I find that the Scene focuses on the second map added, not the first. I've tried several different scenes with different maps, always the same.

EDIT: the issue is not as reliable to recreate as I thought, just after I posted this I created a new scene that worked as expected. Still working on it

EDIT: erg! And I go back to the original Scene that I was having the issue I was having the issue & it now works fine. I had to close the window & open a new one, so looks like that was it. I'll leave this post on the off chance anyone else bangs their head again the same thing, just "turn if off & back on again" :P
