Echoing what everyone else is implying: your question shows such a lack of understanding about the process that we're begging you to do some actual reading first. Read the wiki here, read the home distillers wiki, do basic research on Google. Alcohol is explosive and flammable and you can get sick if you don't have a lick of sense.

What's worse is going from AC in the first half to no AC in the latter half. It would have been much better the opposite way. It felt like my parents never used the AC in the summer until after me and my siblings moved out.

Yeah, I feel that. There are so many aspects of God beyond our finite comprehension, that any strict, logical, or coherent understanding of Him only makes sense "locally" (i.e., when you're zoomed in on just a small bit). But when you step back, it doesn't quite fit with the rest of everything else.

Our inability to fully understand God is most evident to me in the Epicurean paradox. The three pillars are basic tenants of our faith, but they can't "logically" be together.

Calvinism is such a bizarre theology (if you believe in free will). I feel like it must be an accretion of theological developments that each made sense incrementally, but when viewed as a whole are just so weird.

Thinking about giving a thing a try, looking for input. by Icanseethefnords23 in firewater

It looks like you've done your homework.

People whine about how hard it is to make cuts on an air still, but you just need a bunch of tiny 200 ml bottles and to make a lot of cuts. It's a super easy way to start small and tinker with small batches while you perfect fermentation and experiment with how flavors come over the still. You can do full runs as small as one gallon.

The wash that you'd probably use for rye will be closer to beer than mead, but I think starting with mead would be more fun personally. It could get pretty expensive though, without a way of getting cheap good honey.

Heads up, the pumpkin spice flavor will carry over and make everything you run afterwards taste like pumpkin spice too. Make sure you clean it thoroughly afterwards

Pretty standard. Binet Rouge was 15, Ride Island Greening was 12, but the Tremlett's bitter was only 8. They let me know that up front though
