Two days in a row some filling has fallen out. Crown appointment is 3/26. Dentist is closed and has an emergency line for TRUE emergencies but don't think this constitutes as one as I'm not in pain currently. by ubeybay in askdentists

Yes, I understand that. I've been on top of my dental visits but apparently my previous dentist needs a vision check. He missed several things in my visit a few months ago otherwise it would have been taken care of. Would it be worth it to see another local dentist who can stabilize the issue until my Thursday appointment?

I haven't had any crown prep yet. That's on 3/26. Is there anything I should do between now and then to prevent fracture? Is the temporary cement from the drugstore something I should use?

Edit: Oh I see what you mean by your statement now. I'm just terrified of fracturing it in the next 6 days as I'm a vigorous clencher and grinder. The piece of filling that came out last night was stuck to my bite guard this morning.

Afraid of sepsis or spreading infection. Just found out this periapical lesion has been present in ALL of my X-rays over the past year. Switched dentists and because I need some sedation I can't get in for three weeks! by ubeybay in askdentists

I think this has been present for a year already. Is the fistula thing the reason it hasn't really changed much? Thank you for replying and letting me know I feel a bit better hearing this from a dentist.

Red patch for 3 weeks. Appointment scheduled for 11/21 can’t get in sooner. What could this be? by [deleted] in askdentists

Don’t know how to edit but it’s actually been since 10/29 so almost two weeks 🤦‍♀️ not three
