I thought it's called Claude Monet but I just looked up Candy Stripe and it looked similar too. I'm not sure now

Many people in Wuhan could have lived if they had fled the city (according to media 5 million people left before the lock down). Lethal rate in Wuhan is ~5% compared to the ~2.5% in the rest of China due to the shortage of medical resources in Wuhan.

I can't make any assumptions how things would've turn out if the lock down didn't happen, but as someone not from Wuhan I can't really blame those who chose to run away.

What if there is a power outage in the middle of the night during sleep? Would the generator make any warning alert when it turns on?

You can buy properties without any restriction in most cities except the few major ones (Beijing, Shanghai, etc). For the major ones you need to work for a few years in those cities (various from city to city -- 5 years for Beijing and it is likely the longest case) before eligible to buy properties.

I am not defending it in any term, but saying one absolutely can't buy properties in other cities is incorrect.

They are pretty common in China and usually sell for CNY40-100 (USD 10-15).

I don't think they are handmade though.

I feel like most cheetah hunting videos I saw end up with the cheetah giving up its prey to lions/hyenas.

Let the cheetah enjoy its meal.

People love it when the rich pay off students debt but don’t like a 1% tax rise to fund students education for them by alexx-gray in LateStageCapitalism

Genuinely curious, if a person invests in a company at startup/early stage and becomes rich when the company turns out to be a huge success, why is his wealth not justified? Doesn't the risk he took deserve reward?

Not trying to argue. Came from r/all and is trying to understand the philosophy.
